Mechanical Piping
Jim Godbout plumbing & heating has been installing mechanical piping for many years.
Mechanical piping installations include hight pressure hydraulic piping, such as those used at water parks, high pressure air lines, gas piping, swimming pool mechanical piping, pumps and piping systems for water slides and all underground piping from sewers to water mains.
Funtown USA Park Expansion, Saco, Maine:
We did teh general contracing for Funtown USA's Pirates Paradise Water Park where we installed large 25 horsepower pumps and piping with surge tank using schedule 80 pipe. We also piped the air system for the Dragon's Decent at Funtown with 3" galvanized piping 200 feet in the air. In addition we re-piped the Sea Dragon at Funtown/Splashtown which consisted of schedule 80 black iron piping and fittings to withstand working hydraulic pressures of up to 2400 lbs.
We were also in charge of building Funtown USA's new water park expansion which includes one Tornado water slide and one Manmouth water slide and installing six 60 hp pumps to move approx. 8700 gallons per minute to one ride and 5900 gallons per minute to the other.
Piping is schedule 40 pvc with pressure fittings. This project is the largest and most complex our company has encountered, making sure concrete, steel, pool and all mechanicals are in proper location and safe working order.
